Have you recently slept under the ebony night time sky with the twinkling stars above your head? Share this wonderful experience with your child(ren) this summer! Pitch a tent together on Horseshoe Acres at the Brethren Retreat. Cook unique meals over a fire - on a stick, in a cast iron pot, or wrapped in foil. Enjoy various camp activities like canoeing, swimming, archery, crafts, pony rides, and a special hike at a nature center. Build the memory of a lifetime with your child(ren). Take them to Camp Shipshewana this summer. The Parent & Child Adventure Camp schedule will be full of choices to allow you to spend time in a variety of activities to enhance your camp experience. Lodging will be in a provided tent on Horseshoe Acres at the Brethren Retreat.

Enjoy a week of wilderness camping on Camp Shipshewana's Horseshoe Acres. Pioneer Campers will set a base camp near the picnic shelter on Horseshoe Acres. Each day campers will pioneer to different locations to experience God's creation. Pioneer Camp will offer campers canoeing on gentle rivers, hiking through county parks, conquering a challenge course, and visiting a Nature Center. Campers will learn how to set up and pack away their tent, cook meals over a campfire, and other wilderness skills. Each daily adventure will begin with a devotional. A time for evening snacks, reflection, and praise around a crackling campfire will conclude the day.

Break Free! Enjoy an outdoor adventure in Michigan. Float pristine rivers in a canoe or an inner tube.  Explore a special campsite in the Michigan wilderness. Conquer the challenge of hiking the North Country Trail. Enjoy a week learning how to survive in a tent and eat food cooked over a campfire. Campers will develop cooperation skills throughout the week by sharing duties to prepare meals and clean utensils. Daily devotionals and campfires inspire campers and staff alike. Wilderness campers immerse themselves in God’s creation to experience Biblical applications through various activities. Live life outdoors!

Go North . . . into wolverine country! Rejoice at the majesty of God's creation in a 1200 acre state park in Michigan. Experience the thrill of canoeing quiet lake waters. Be challenged by an array of hiking trails. Swim the cool waters glacier lakes. Sr. Hi. campers will be inspired by morning devotionals and encouraged to share how God has worked in their life at evening campfires. Each camper is expected to work as a team member with packing gear,  helping others in need, cooking and cleaning chores for an enjoyable by everyone. Step away from life and enjoy this adventure to a wilderness in the north!  Don't miss it!

Campers may attend this camp for $245.00 if registered and
attend the 2010 Blaze Camp session.

* The camp fee is split between a deposit payment due by April 30th and a balance payment due by May 31st. *The Total Camp Fee equals the sum of the Deposit Payment and Balance Due Payment. Credit Card payments may be made in four equal installments (February 28th, March 28th, April 28th, & May 28th). A non-refundable/transferable deposit of $100.00 will be retained for non payment or cancellation of registrations.
