Ministry Objectives

The Brethren Retreat Center strives to:

• "Teach God's children the plan of salvation" through the blood of Jesus Christ
• "Develop personnel resources" to advance the Kingdom of God
• "focus on refreshing Christians" in their daily walk with Jesus Christ

The Ministry of the Brethren Retreat has influenced thousands of lives since 1920. Presently, this ministry is experiencing unprecedented growth in all areas of ministry. God has blessed the FOCUS 2020 "A Vision to Revitalize" by increasing our opportunities to "Share the love of Jesus" to over 3000 guests and campers each year.

The Brethren Retreat Center provides programs and facilities that will extend the kingdom of God through evangelism and disciple.

Our Vision

The Brethren Retreat Center will initiate, promote, conduct, and host a variety of camp and retreat programs designed to serve youth, adults, and families in a setting apart from the daily routine of life. It will serve those both within the Brethren Conference of Indiana and the larger body of Christ. Programs and facilities will assist and support the local churches in LaGrange County and North Central USA. Resources of the Brethren Retreat Center will be available to all Christian groups whose view of scripture is compatible with the Brethren persuasion. Programming methods will be regularly evaluated and adjusted in order to carry out the unchanging mission of the Brethren Retreat Center in a constantly changing culture.
